Wednesday 27th September, Stakehill BID run its to the third BID Business Breakfast event of 2023 Mid Communications Ltd kindly played host, centring its focus on the community. Approximately 25 attendees were treated to a complimentary light breakfast as part of the gathering. During the event, Jess Rigby from Cash for Kids, a charitable organisation dedicated to assisting disadvantaged children in the UK, shared insights into their mission. Cash for Kids’ core aim is to enhance the lives of underprivileged children and youth in our local communities who grapple with issues such as poverty, illness, neglect, or additional needs. Their fundamental belief is that every child should have the opportunity to express their unique identity, attain their full potential, and savour life to the fullest. Cash for Kids collaborates with grassroots organisations dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals, offering direct support to families often left with nowhere else to turn.

One of Cash for Kids’ prominent initiatives, “Mission Christmas,” was also spotlighted during the event. This endeavour seeks to address the plight of thousands of children living in poverty, who face the prospect of waking up without gifts on Christmas morning due to their families’ financial constraints. For these children, Christmas is a luxury they cannot afford, and it might otherwise pass like any ordinary day. However, “Mission Christmas” is gearing up to make a substantial difference by ensuring that Santa Claus reaches these youngsters this holiday season. You can register their support here! 🎅
