This Lean manufacturing programme was provided by instep in partnership with the BID and 12 employees from Stakehill took part in the training. This course was aimed at employees who are not directly involved in production, such as supervisors and shift managers. The course was elevated to include knowledge and skills around implementing processes to drive forward Lean application. Through participation in the course individuals are now empowered to apply techniques taught in the session back in the workplace. The Implementing Lean Processes programme consisted of 4 tutor-led modules which was delivered over 2 full days.
The BID is dedicated to upskilling employees on Stakehill, and more training will be provided throughout the year.
