
Scheme Link is an online system, with desktop and app-based interfaces and was developed as a central point for easier sharing of data & communication across scheme types, unifying online scheme services for members, police & councils. By bringing all these services to one central point strengths and simplifies the task of managing Shopwatch Schemes. SchemeLink includes features which enable users to communicate too each other via SMS and live chat.
In June 2022, the Stakehill BID project group and Stakehill BID Board agreed with the proposal to roll out Scheme Link on Stakehill Industrial Estate. Scheme Link will allow businesses across the BID area to communicate, warn and share intelligence on any suspicious incidents or crime across the BID.
Scheme Link is also used in Rochdale Town Centre and Kingsway Industrial Estate which provides the BID with the opportunity to have a joint up approach and share GDPR compliant information with both these areas. Furthermore, Greater Manchester Police have a log in to Scheme Link and therefore can be updated on any suspicious behaviour on Stakehill.
