In a significant step towards enhancing workplace safety, the Stakehill Business Improvement District (BID) recently funded a Qualsafe First Aid at Work course for local businesses. The three-day course, held on the 26th, 27th, and 28th of June, was delivered by Rochdale Training, focusing on equipping employees with essential first aid skills.

The program, which saw participation from a variety of businesses within the Stakehill area, covered vital topics including CPR, injury management, and handling medical emergencies. The practical training aimed to ensure that employees are well-prepared to respond to critical situations swiftly and effectively.

Alan Johnson, the Stakehill BID Manager, highlighted the importance of the initiative: “Ensuring the safety and well-being of our community is a top priority. By funding this training, we are empowering our local businesses with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a safe working environment.”

Rochdale Training, renowned for its high-quality vocational courses, customized the program to meet the specific needs of Stakehill businesses.

This initiative underscores Stakehill BID’s dedication to fostering a safe and supportive business environment. By funding this course, they ensure that local businesses are better equipped to protect their employees and create a safer community for everyone.
