This week saw the Growth Company run a bespoke fully funded ‘Journey to Net Zero’ course for the companies on Stakehill.
The group took part in workshops, were given study material and received expert advice from environmental specialists. The environmental specialists also supported the students in building a strategic plan to cut companies’ carbon footprints, reduce costs, minimise risk and capitalise on the many opportunities that can arise through innovation. The course was broken down over the 3 days into 7 units.

At the end of the course each learner left with a Carbon Calculator workbook to implement what they have learned and put into practise with their business. As well as this, further support can be accessed through similar services in the Business Growth Hub, such as the Business Advisor Consultancy and Green Economy departments.
