Building on the great success of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean campaign where we collected 84 bags of rubbish, Stakehill BID organised a Tidy Day on the 16th of May 2023 between 11am and 2pm, for businesses on the estate.
Thankfully the weather was much kinder than in March for the 32 volunteers. The Volunteers came from Ceva Logistics, Footasylum and Toolstation. The volunteers covered a significant part of the Stakehill BID area. Collecting 22 bags of rubbish in total which has made a positive impact on the estate.
We would also like to thank Rochdale Borough Council for the PPE, collection of the rubbish.
